The best way to study for the CASAC exam is to create a study schedule that breaks down the material into manageable sections, use a variety of study resources such as textbooks, practice exams, and online courses, and actively engage with the material by discussing it with peers or taking notes. Practicing with sample questions and seeking feedback can also help identify areas that need improvement.
It is best NOT to stay up late the night before a test in order to cram. It is best NOT to study in a way that is unconnected to the test. That is, if the test is written, you should study by practicing what you will write. If the test is oral, you should practice saying what you will say. (Some studies have shown that a student has best results if s/he takes the test in the same mental state as when she or he studied the material.)
To do the best that you are able to do. If you have a test and don't study...that is not to the best of your ability. :)
