If the person has an allergic reaction to the bee sting, call 911 immediately. An adverse reaction includes trouble breathing, swollen tongue, fainting, and a history of severe allergy to insect stings. If no allergic reaction, carefully remove stinger, ice and elevate the sting, take an over-the-counter pain reliever, and apply calamine lotion for the itch.

First, you must remove the stinger, only if it's there.

Second, you must have gauze, optional that is.

Third, use the gauze, or any good, wrap you can have around your sting, then put anti-bacteria cream on the gauze, and on the sting infection.

Fourth, Wrap the gauze, or any material you have, around the sting.

Lastly, Make sure you change it about every six hours, or it usually doesn't improve.

Why could you use a bee sting to help with a wasp sting?

my dad once told me it wont hurt if a wasp stings me after a bee and i asked why.... it is because there is a certain chemical in a bee sting that helps the acid in the sting painless. it can also be the other way round, they both cancel each other out! not a good idea to try this though as it is near imposable for the bee or wasp to sting you in the same place but some scientist have extracted this chemical but it can not be soled as it has too many health issues. hope this helped

Is a wasp poisonous?

Wasps do have a sting that injects venom. This is not enough to kill a person, though some people are highly allergic to the sting, and could die from allergic reaction. This would not really be considered poisonous, though. A wasp sting hurts, but is not really dangerous unless you are allergic.
