went on a trip to England,south of wales,Ireland,north wales and Scotland,with a fews American,believe it or not everywhere we went they would ask our nationality,when the Americans said where they where from,there was a cold air going trough the place where we where,and than when we said we where from Canada,everyone was very happy to talk to us and give us directions ,so yes we are appeciated a lot more than Americans in Europe.

I just went to the doctor and she had a sprague stethoscope and when she saw the look on my face when she touched it to my chest, she laughed and said i know, it's really cold.
