brown eyes because of the genetic trait
Most Scottish people have blue or green eyes. Brown eyes are less common in the Scottish population.
While blonde hair is common with blue eyes, I find that a shade of brown looks exotic and beautiful with blue eyes. The neutral brown brings out the color in your eyes, making them seem brighter and bigger. Any shade of brown will do, either a light honey brown, or a rich chocolate, both have the same affect.

Brown eyes are considered dominant over blue eyes. This means that if a person has one parent with brown eyes and one parent with blue eyes, they are more likely to have brown eyes. However, eye color inheritance can be complex and is controlled by multiple genes.
If your father has blue eyes and your mother has brown eyes that doesn't mean you can't have purple eyes!
