The tibia, shinbone, or shankbone is the larger and stronger of the two bones in the leg below the knee in vertebrates and connects the knee with the ankle bones.
The fibula is commonly known as the "calf bone". It's the weight-bearing bone that extends to the ankle from the knee. It runs parallel to the tibia, which does is not weight-bearing.
The tibia, which articulates with the foot, the fibula, the patellae and the femur is also know as the "shin bone". It is very dense and extremely strong.

The shin bone
The femur is the "thigh bone" in humans.
The tibia is the shin bone.
It is commonly known as the Shinbone.

Your tibia is what would be considered your shin bone.
The tibia and fibula are the bones of the lower leg.
at its distal end the tibia expands to form a prominence on the inner ankle called the
This long ridge of the tibia is called the anterior crest or anterior border. See link below:
The bottom of the tibia. That particular part of the tibia is called the medial malleolus.
The more commonly known kneecap sits on the top (anterior) side of our tibia (shinbone), the largest and weight-bearing bone of the lower leg.
The ridge on the tibia head is called the tibial tuberosity. It is a bony prominence on the anterior surface of the tibia where the patellar ligament attaches.

The tibia, shinbone or shankbone is the larger and stronger of the two bone in the leg below the knee. it is commonly registered as the strongest weight bearing bone in the body.

The anterior crest is prominent bone feature on the tibia. It is often called the shin.
The medial malleolus is the rounded process of the tibia forming the internal surface of the ankle joint. It si sometime called the internal malleolus.
Tarsals
The tibia is medial to the fibula. The tibia is the larger of the lower leg bones, and the tibia is the smaller.
