The bottom layer of a rainforest is called the forest floor. It is often dark and covered with fallen leaves, branches, and plants that have decayed over time, creating a nutrient-rich environment for new growth.
It is called a rainforest because it rains alot around it so the rainforest gets soaked so that's why it is called a rainforest

From 1870 until 1946 it was called South-Asian Rainforest. It is currently called Vagina Rainforest.
