A sealing ring is a ring that is used to prevent leaks in pipes. A gasket serves the same purpose as a sealing ring, but can also keep in gas.
A sealing ring is ring, made of metal or rubber, that is used in plumbing, pressure cooking, and many aspects of manufacturing . A sealing ring essentially functions as a gasket, helping to form a tight seal.

Poor piston ring sealing in diesel generators can be caused by damage or misapplication. If a diesel generator is left running under a low load it can cause poor piston sealing as well.
for the halogen bulb from the inside turn the retaining ring counter clockwise and pull bulb out, install bulb in socket and reinstall into lamp, then turn retaining ring clockwise.
The seal is designed to have a point contact between the O-ring and sealing .... This was blamed on a failed O-ring seal. The escaping high temperature gas ...
Hi, The replacement of the headlamp bulbs is fortunately, one of our easiest jobs we have with our car. The bulb is held in by a quarter turn ring. You need to unplug the bulb connector first, then turn the locking ring to release the bulb and remove the locking ring and bulb by pulling them back from the headlamp assy. Remove the locking ring and replace the bulb in the same way you removed the old bulb. One very strong note of caution, NEVER touch the bulb glass with your fingers! Touching the glass will absolutely shorten the life of the bulb, it puts an oily spot or area on the glass where heat will be stronger and eventually the bulb will fail. When you remove the locking ring take notice if there is a wave washer inside the locking ring, this ring keeps the ring tight against the headlamp assy. If your locking ring is real loose takes no effort to remove, the wave washer might have been lost on a previous bulb replacement. These wave washers can be purchased from a Chevy or Suzuki dealer and are pretty inexpensive. I hope this is timely for you and good luck. Steve H.
Reach behind the housing and you will find a bulb capsule with a retaining ring (plastic). Turn the plastic ring to the left (lefty loosie). After ring comes off, you pull out the capsule (with o ring).
Open the hood - THen look at the back of the headlights. There you will see the wires and connector that go into the assembly where the light is stored. You will have to disconnect the rectangular piece by squeezing the sides and pulling. Next take off the rubber sealing ring. Simply pull it out. Nest you will see a metal wire. You will have to push on the right side of it (viewed from the rear of the car) and up to pop the spring out and allolw the bulb old bulb to come out. You may need to twist he bulb for it to come out. Next put the old bulb in. Swing the wire spring back into place the way it was. Put on the rubber sealant ring, and then the plastic rectangular connector with the three prongs will fit back onto the bulb back. Wear gloves when placing the new bulb in as the oils in your hand can shorten the life of the new bulb QUICKLY.
There is a black o-ring that you turn to release the bulb, once you turn it you may have to jiggle the bulb a little to pull it out. I find it easier to unplug it first then turn the o-ring.
On the back of the headlight there is a locking ring holding the bulb in. First unplug the bulb, then turn the locking ring counter clockwise about 1/4 turn, May need to push the ring down a little bit to release it. Take out the bulb and replace being sure not to touch the new bulb with fingers as the oil in your skin will tend to make the bulb burn out quicker.
There's a plastic ring around the bulb you can remove and then twist out the base holding the bulb. Then change the bulb and twist it back in followed by the retainer ring. It's really simple (for a change). The rear spark plugs are a different story.
