If it's a "window" rather than a movable button, it could possibly be used to read your fingerprint for sign-on, rather than a password.
This would depend on the type and model of computer. Generally, on a desktop computer, the power button will be on the front of the tower. Sometimes it can be on the side of the tower if not on the front. If it is an all-in-one computer, such as the imac, it may be on the monitor itself (possibly back or front). If you are using a laptop, it can often be found at the top right just above the keyboard. some older laptops have the button on either the side or front of the laptop.
On a desktop, the power button will usually light up. On a laptop, the power lights (located on the front of the laptop) will usually light up first.
You press the power button either on your laptop or monitor.
The power button should be right in front of the keyboard. There is probably no square root button on the laptop keyboard. Look around in the software on the computer for an application called " Calculator ". That will have a button on it to perform the square root operation, plus buttons for a lot of other operations too.
There is only one way to fix a laptop that has a shift button that does not work. You will have to take it to a computer shop and have it looked at.
Be smarter than the microphone. You click on the microphone button at the top left corner and it should be on. But it depends if you are using a laptop or desktop computer. If you are using a desktop computer there is no microphone. But if using a laptop, click on the microphone button on the top left corner. Then the microphone should turn on.
The only authorized means of using a laptop for airplane travel is to disable the wireless transmitter (done through your operating system or a button/toggle switch on the laptop itself).
you press the big button on the front :|
A laptop IS a computer
If you mean a Desktop, it is probably circular, and it has a strange + - - sign on it. If it is a laptop, it isn't a socket, it's a button
