The driver's sideview mirror on my 2002 Sequoia started "buzzing" and I discovered that the only way to stop is was to hold the button halfway down that folds the mirrors inward. I used a toothpick as a wedge to keep the button in the halfway down position. I have scheduled an appointment to have the mirror control button assembly replaced. The cost of the part alone is about $150.00.

A bad motor can cause a buzzing noise in your 1997 Mercedes E420 rear-view mirror. If it has a light, the light could also be going out.
Just replaced the motor for a 2003 Sequoia and it cost $250 for parts and labor.
I live in FL, and use Mobil 1 synthetic 5w30. If regular motor oil was used prior or you are unsure, use motor flush first.
You will need apply steel glue to reattach the drivers mirror on a 1998 toyota avalon. You can purchase steel glue at walmart or any auto supply shop.
I haven't done this, but I think that plastic trim piece in the corner of the window pops out to expose the fasteners that hold the mirror housing. A body shop can tell you how to replace the mirror and/or motor.
First, park you Sequoia in front of the garage door you want to sync. You need to hold down the button for garage door opener on the overhead pannel until the corresponding indicator light starts blinking. Then walk over to the garage door motor and push the button on the back of the motor (it's usually red). That will send a signal to your Sequoia, that will be stored by by the garage door button. That should do it!
It's Not too bad , Pop the door clips and there are three bolts holding it in place. Dosconnect the motor controls and go.
Will a 1998 Toyota Camry motor fit in a 1999 Toyota Camry
The motor itself is not replaceable. You have to replace the whole mirror assembly.
Toyota Motors, of course.
