holding your breath is an extreme form of rebreathing

Acidosis
This depends on the size of the dog. A toy size dog would do better with a non-rebreathing system, as it won't have the tidal volume necessary to maintain a good flow of fresh air. A larger dog (say, 15 pounds and up) would be fine with a rebreathing system.
is this breathing unit stands for AMBU bag?
Asthma
A non-rebreathing system
Non-rebreathing system
Using a non-rebreathing oxygen mask at under 10 lpm of oxygen flow can cause carbon dioxide to build up and be re-inhaled by the patient.
It is not okay for a baby to chew on his/her blanket. This action increases the risk for suffocation or strangulation. In addition, allowing the baby to chew on their blanket exposes the child to a phenomenon known as rebreathing. When the baby covers up their face, with a blanket for example, they will be breathing in the same air they have just exhaled. This prevents the baby from receiving the appropriate amount of oxygen intake. In a sense, it is like they are breathing in to a paper bag. Though this actions seems harmless, it is believed that rebreathing may be a contributer to cause of SIDS.
yes but only the ambient CO2 it is a NITROX mask for elevated O2 between 40 and 60 % the rest is AIR which contains Co2 at atmospheric pressure.. 1 BARAdditionAssuming you are talking about some kind of full face diving mask with a regulator attached, you will be rebreathing some gas you have exhaled. So yes, you will be rebreathing CO2 - which will be at a greater concentration as well as a greater partial pressure than the CO2 at atmospheric pressure. But it will be minor amounts. However if you are talking about a hospital type of application then it is a different answer.
Because you are rebreathing your own air - every time you take a breath there is less oxygen and more carbon dioxide going into your lungs and therefore to your brain. This causes your brain to work harder with less fuel. This puts undue pressure on your brain and you get a headache and get light-headed or confused. The remedy is simple: open a window (or get the air con fixed).
