Age should not be an issue if you love each other. But you do have to remember that the two people are 15 years apart. When the older person is 65, the other one will be 50. Will that be a problem to the relationship?
Some people don't get along well when their spouse is home all the time. I have worked with people like this, who got a job so they could be away from their spouse when they retired.
If you love each other, then age shouldn't be the deciding factor. Pray about this and see what God shows you. Use His wisdom, not your own. Read James 1 in your Bible.
15 years difference is a lot but I have known couples who had this span of time between them. If you have observed this person and asked questions of each other about this subject and others, and gone into the subject in depth, you shouldn't have to worry.
There may be more health issues involved too, so consider this when you are praying about what to do. Are you willing to take care of that person til death, or are you going to bail out of the relationship when health issues come up? I heard recently about a man who divorced his wife who had cancer. Do you have an escape clause in your mind when you get into this relationship or are you there for them no matter what happens.
As an example, my wife got fibromyalgia right after we married. I also got more physical problems a year or so later. But we are in the marriage for keeps, not to desert the person when they need us most. If you truly love someone, then these things don't matter. You can either be an excuse-maker and bail out or be a promise keeper and stay in with God's help.
