Best Answer

The cheapest property in Monopoly is Mediterranean Avenue ($60).

The cheapest space to land on would be free parking or the "Just Visiting" area of jail... but the cheapest property to land on depends on whether they are owned, and how much they are built up.

In other versions of Monopoly (international versions and themed versions) the information will change.

The least expensive are the brown set of properties being Old Kent Road and Whitechapel, both being £60 each. However any property not bought when landed on is to be auctioned and can therefore legally be bought for a fraction of their asking price which can sometimes be less than the two stated above. It is very possible for Mayfair to be bought for £1 if the bidding starts too high in the auction and the starting price drops as the property, once landed on by any player, must be bought. It is very unlikely mind you, but is possible.
