The 2011 Ford Mustang gets the best fuel economy in its class. The 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 has an EPA rating of 22 mpg city / 31 mpg highway. To get that good of fuel economy with a Mustang you must have the 6-speed manual transmission too. The 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 has an EPA rating of 20 mpg city / 26 mpg highway. That would also have to be a 6-speed manual.
