you can revive it to get an anorith. the root fossil will give you lileep.
In the dessert
you cant find metal claw
I have Pokemon Sapphire, but it's the same thing in both games. There are two fossils, one is the root fossil and one is the claw fossil. The root fossil will get you a Lileep (which then evolves into a Cradily at lvl40) and the claw fossil will get you an Anorith (which also evolves at lvl40 to give you an Armaldo). Hope that helps!!
The Claw fossil
it is right side
there are different Pokemon in it
the quick claw is in the Pokemon trainers school talk to the theacher and also you can find them in wild sandrews (steal them by covet of thief) mmm nothing more
it is in the top right of the desert. you can choose between it and the claw fossil
i don't think there is a "sharp claw" if you mean razor claw, its at victory road 1st floor, and route 224
In Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald you enter the Devon Cooperation in Rustboro City on the second floor. From there, talk to the professor that says that he is trying to resurrect Pokemon from fossils. If you have the Claw or Root Fossil, (Find in the desert) he will say that he wants to try to bring the fossil back to life. Say yes, and exit the room. Make room in your Pokemon Party and come back. He will say that it is done. If you gave him a Claw Fossil, you will have a Level 20 Anorith. If you gave him a Root Fossil, you will have a Level 20 Lileep.
in the claw fossil there is a Pokemon called anorith. at level 41 it evolves into armaldo. it is a water/ground type. i know, it doesn't really make much sense... but it is very powerful..... look it up and you will see a picture of it.
give a Pokemon quick claw and battle the lat@s and use a sleeping move
