Title is a bit misleading. It is not a war story like, say ( Combat- the counterattack) which was all-action. The tale is about three men during a war who are conversing in a half-empty subway or railroad car off hours. all of the action takes place on the train- and they have different perspectives on armed conflict- towards the end one character- maybe the Conductor reverals he has lost a close rellative to the Battles of War- the war in question is World War I.- it is all on stage- on a subway or RR car- and as stated, a bit misleading but has an anti-war bias.
The climax of "The War of the Wall" occurs when the main character, a graffiti artist, decides to create a mural on a blank wall in defiance of the local community that disapproves of her art. This action leads to a confrontation with the residents and authorities, culminating in a moment of resolution and self-expression for the artist.
I work a short story for school in grade 12 about D-day and actually had the main character die in the end and described what he was feeling and thinking in insane slow motion. You can either end it there or continue and end when they're spouse/parents have a military office come to the door telling them of the characters death. Hope this helps
ill tell you in 1994

The climax of "The Cask of Amontillado" occurs when Montresor chains Fortunato to the wall and seals him alive behind a brick wall. This moment represents the peak of suspense and tension in the story as Montresor carries out his plan for revenge.
the climax of the story
Climax is the highest point of excitement for the character in the story therefore the climax for the short story "War" is when Neil is throwing rocks at his father and it knocks him out.
The climax of a story is sometimes not always the middle of the story but Climax means the highest point so when the problem comes up in a story, the plot, it would be in the climax.
