The nearest supernova, or more correctly supernova remnant is the Vela [See Link]. It occurred around 11 - 12,000 years ago. Not only is it the oldest, but it is also the closest at about 800 light years.
The largest known nebula is NGC 604 at 600-1220 light-years.
The Orion nebula is relatively close, definitely inside our galaxy, but here might be others that are closer but not so bright.
The Helix Nebula (sometimes called the eye of god) is the closest at 700 light-years away.
The closest star to us is our own Sun. The next closest star is Proxima Centauri.
Orions nebula
eagle nebula
It is proxima centauri.
Not yet - but in about 5 billion years - yes.
There is only one star in our solar system. It is called Sol.
The Solar System is about 4.6 billion years old.
mercury is the closest planet to the sun
The one and ONLY star in our solar system is the Sun, which is about 93 million miles away from the Earth. The next closest star is the red dwarf Proxima Centauri, at a distance of about 4.2 light-years. That's clearly not even close to being in our solar system.
Our closest Solar System is Alpha Centauri System.
Not yet - but in about 5 billion years - yes.
no because there are not any nebulae in our solar system but there might be one in about 5-7 billion years
it is how the solar system started
There are eight planets in the solar system, but the planet closest to the sun is Mercury.
Mercury is the planet in our solar system that is closest to the sun.
My solar system contains only one star. We call it "the sun".
The closest one is the sun ... it's right in the center of the solar system. The next nearest is one of the components of the multiple system called Alpha Centauri,at the minuscule distance of only 4.2 light years from the solar system.
The sun in our solar system.
Stars, star clusters, distant galaxies, galaxy clusters, nebulae, ...
mercury is the closest planet to the sun
The sun is THIRD CLOSEST IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM GET SOME FACTS gosh.
