to start with when you push in on the clutch pedal you are disengaging it. Your description sounds like the clutch has clutched its last clutch What if it is not the clutch?
YesYes
If it has a manual trans, then yes.
As a general rule the compressor clutch relay is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, attached to the side of the hood opening. Bear in mind that this relay receives its signal from the low speed radiator fan relay (generally located right next to it). Also, remember that, Chrysler, in their infinite wisdom, sometimes attaches this relay to the DRIVER'S side (!?). Good luck SDIgroup
The problem is most likely the transmission. Chrysler vehicles are notorious for poorly made transmissions and engines. If the dealer did it as a warranty repair, they probably half-assed the job because this is what Chrysler urges their warranty centers to do.
Look under the hood in the power distribution box and you will see a group of relays and it will be the top one on row one (compressor clutch relay).........
Inadequate oil in a/c comp, bad bearings, bad clutch are possible causes.
