The coldest matter in the world is a Bose-Einstein condensate of atoms that have been cooled to within tiny fractions of a kelvin of absolute zero (-273 C).

The coldest material generally available is liquid nitrogen (temperature - 196 C, - 320 F).

The coldest place on Earth is the Antarctic Plateau, with temperatures as low as -90 C (-129 F).

One of the coldest naturally-occurring things on Earth is ice formed at very high pressures, with temperatures down to -140 C.

No, there are many things that can be cooled down to extreme temperatures.

The most common very cold substance would be liquid helium which has a boiling point of -452.1°F (-268.9°C or 4 K).

What is the coldest subject ever recorded on Earth?

The coldest thing ever recorded on Earth is definitely Liquid Nitrogen! In fact the lowest temperature recorded of this substance was minus 237.90 degrees centigrade! As hot as Pluto's hottest recorded day. Hope this information came in useful to you.

Where does it get as cold at night as liquid nitrogen?

Not on this planet. Liquid nitrogen is 77 K, or -196°C. The coldest temperature recorded on earth was -89.4°C (See link for source.) None of the planets get that cold, although Mercury (!) comes close, at 90 K.

What is the difference between the atmosphere of earth and space?

An atmosphere implies the presence of a gaseous substance (such as air, in the earth's atmosphere, which is primarily made up of nitrogen and oxygen). Space is defined as the absence of atmosphere (as pure space consists of no solid, liquid or gaseous substance).
