In the earliest New Testament gospel, now known as Mark's Gospel, the last twenty four hours in the life of Jesus were divided into eight parts, each of three hours, with events or timings to alert the reader of the passage of the three hours. In this case, Peter denied Jesus three times and when he thought on it Peter wept (Mark 14:66-72).
There were two separate prior discourses in which Jesus pointed to Peter's denials. At the Last Supper, Jesus told Peter that he would deny him three times before the cock crowed twice. Even earlier, Peter had declared his faith in Jesus as the Messiah, to which Jesus said, "Whoever shall be ashamed of me: of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed." This last discourse can be seen as foreshadowing Peter's denials, from the framework structure of Mark's Gospel (pairs T and U):

Events T and U are part of a local chiastic structure:
aT Peter affirms Jesus as the Messiahb. Jesus refers to his death and resurrection
c. Peter rebukes Jesus
c' Jesus rebukes Peter
b' Jesus refers to death, the cross and life after death
a'U "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me ..."This is a reversal of Peter's affirmation, just as Peter's denials (T') are a reversal of his affirmation.
This chiastic structure links Peter's affirmation in event T of the framework structure to verse 8:38 ("Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."), then indirectly to events T' and U' (14:66-72a; 72b), where Peter denies Jesus 3 times; "And when he thought thereon, he wept"). This adds emphasis and meaning both to Peter's affirmation and his later denials.

Christian and Jesus
When Jesus looks at Peter after his denial, he shows a mix of understanding, forgiveness, and love.
I suppose one of the big things about it is that Jesus knew that Peter would deny that he even knew Him (not even just one, but three times), and Jesus still loved Peter enough to make Peter the rock of the church.
St. Peters weaknesses were he betrayed Jesus 3*, he had denial, you can look on Matthew 14: 25-33, and also Matthew 26: 50-54, and some of his strengths in Acts 3.
Peters real name was Simon, but Jesus changed it to Peter which means the rock.
No Jesus did not change Judas name , he only changed Peters name from Symon.
Though Peter loved the Lord and followed His teaching he was not fully converted to them. He had not yet received the Holy Spirit of truth in his heart. After his denial of knowing Christ his guilt was so overpowering that he at once realized that the man he had betrayed was indeed the Christ. The Spirit of truth overcame him and he was converted. He died as a martyr for his testimony.
The important thing about fasting is self-denial; that one deliberately chooses to go without food for a time in order to devote one's self to study, prayer, worship or meditation.
No, Peter was not he just felt the sorrow of a million deaths . Also, It wasn't peter, It was Judas
Peter proudly denied that he would ever deny Jesus , but he denied Jesus three times just as Jesus said he would do. And he was a favourite disciple.
Only one - Simon Peter, apostle of Jesus.
