There would be no Christianity without Jesus Christ. He is Christianity. It is based on all His teachings and what He has done for mankind if we put our faith and trust in Him. That is coming to earth (God in the flesh) and dying and rising again for the sins of mankind.

∙ 13y agoChristians can generally be categorized into two: helpful Christians and selfish Christians. Helpful Christians are Christians that strive to improve humanity and the lives of others. They are selfless and are willing to help at any time. Selfish Christians, however, only strive to ensure that they do good deeds to successful enter Heaven during rapture. They do not have any form of sincerity, only living for oneself and not for others.

∙ 10y agoJesus was a challenging member of his society, he challenged the legalistic attitudes of the leaders of the synagogues, he challenged those who were acting unfairly to their fellow man, he challenged the attitudes of the "regular" people in how they gave and reacted to those who they considered sinful, in actual fact all of us are sinful, so Jesus tried to make them realise they all needed God's forgiveness and change their behaviour.

If you accept Jesus as your Savior you will spend eternity with Him in heaven. If you do not accept Him you will suffer an eternity in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15). This is the greatest contribution that could have ever been made.
