It can use either 44 magnum or 44 special
Winchester 44 Magnum.
Ammuntion that is marked 44 Mag. Bullet weights from 180-300 grains are available.
You can only use .30 carbine ammo or the European designation 7.62X33 ammo
Unsure if you are using Alpine as the name of the ammo or of the firearm. In early 1960s, firm maufactured M1 Carbines in California under the Alpine name. These used standard M1 Carbine ammo (aka 30 Carbine). Am not familiar with ammo maker by that name.
no
Yes. The 44 magnum can fire 44 special ammo in the same way a .357 magnum can use .38 Special.
Ruger is one.
.380 ACP
No Ammunition made in the US for the M-1 carbine was never corrosive, since the gas piston is NOT meant to be disassembled by the user- which corrosive ammo would require. Some Chinese ammo was made in M-1 carbine with fake headstamps that was VERY corrosive.
id say about 100$ cuz the magnum chamber is less popular than the .22 lr cuz it cost more for ammo and doesnt shoot any better, but in good conditon id pay that
Yes, and it is more comfortable to shoot than .44 Mag. Clean the cylinder chambers well after shooting to prevent carbon buildup ahead of the cartridges.
