Around $1500 regular price. Depending on services. If you go to an oral surgeon without insurance to get your wisdom teeth removed, you will pay anything from $1200-$1500. You usually need to pay half the amount up front and then you can make payments.

I suggest you do what I did and go to the local college or university. I had mine extracted at UCLA school of dentistry and I paid only $130 total for all four wisdom teeth. They were professional and I actually had fun!

The cost should be the same, with or without dental insurance. In Canada, a wisdom tooth extraction, for a single tooth, can cost up to $350.

I had 4 impacted removed this morning and it was $900 but that was at a hospital.

Wisdom teeth can all vary in prices.

Reason for this is it will all depend on what position the teeth are in. As an example if the tooth is completely under the skin (unseen) that is call fully impacted and it is a bit more of a complicated surgery. They can range from 350.00 EACH to much much higher depending on your surgeon.

The more it is grown out the less it cost because it becomes less complicated.

Most will go to sleep for this and that too will have a cost.

If you have any of them impacted I would always go to an oral surgeon and not a general dentist.

It all depends... No 2 mouths are the same. If they are impacted it will be more expensive. I got mine out 5 days ago, cost me $1450. None of mine were impacted, but the surgery was schedualed in a hury... So anywhere from $1000 to $2000 depending on what needs to be done and what kind of anastectic you have (cant spell that sorry!) I was put out with the I.V. option which costs $300 more but i'd recomend it if your getting more than 2 done!

It depends on what part of the bill your insurance pays: 50%? 75%? 90%? The cost of each extraction is about $125. And remember, the anesthesia with all-at-once wisdom teeth extraction is usually billed separately. Having them removed all-at-once is usually done by an oral surgeon. If your dentist removes them, it will run a little less, but will require more visits.

My teeth are crooked and crowded because my wisdom teeth are impacted. Will my teeth go back after getting my wisdom teeth removed?

I spoke to my oral surgeon about the crowding in my lower jaw that I believed to be caused by my wisdom teeth. He said that even with the extra space I would receive from the removal of my wisdom teeth, it would be unlikely that my teeth would move back into place. There was mention of being fitted for retainers and going to a different doctor who specialized in orthodontics.

Could you get your wisdom teeth out when your 10?

While it is possible, because every child develops differently as they mature and grow, having problematic wisdom teeth (3rd molars) that require removal at that age would be quite unusual. Wisdom teeth most often do not require removal until at least age 16.

Do adults have a total of 32 teeth?

Yes and no. Adults generally have 28 permanent teeth excluding the wisdom teeth. Most adults will not develop all 4 wisdom teeth, which would bring the count to 32, had they. However, the amount of teeth can change during adulthood depending on tooth extractions, wisdom teeth, or malformed teeth.

Is it OK to get braces if your wisdom teeth may come in soon?

I don't know if it's OK. I have braces myself and my wisdom teeth are coming in right now. Unfortunatly, I have to get them pulled, if anything that's what would happen. You should wait until the wisdom teeth come in, and then get them pulled, because the metal bands may not fit around the wisdom teeth, and most people have more comfort when their wisdom teeth are pulled. I have braces and my wisdom teeth came through and my otho hasn't done anything to them.

How many permanent teeth do you have including wisdom teeth?

An adult has 32 teeth. As a member of the family hominidae, and genus homo (human) we have the tooth formula 2.1.2.3, giving us 32 teeth including the m3's (wisdom teeth). Also considering that, as a genetic characteristic, some humans will never have wisdom teeth, it would be wrong to call this the normal number of teeth because neither formula is normal or abnormal.
