Keiser University has the preferred regional accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Therefore the coursework and degree you complete through this institution will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as testing and licensing agencies, as well as employers. That being said, I would be extremely careful on what this degree is actually going to cost you. The university did not indicated this to the College Board. Any nursing program is not going to be inexpensive, and the mere fact they this school makes no mention of the cost, it brings up a red flag for me. It is not so much the tuition, but the clinical fees involved which brings the total cost high. You will have to decide whether the cost is worth attending this university. Remember, if you need to take out loans, you will be paying this off for a number of years. My personal opinion is this. If money is an issue (and it probably will be), I would be more inclined to stay with the state universities. It will probably be a lot less expensive, and as long as the school has a regional accreditation, you will be fine. I just hate to see people putting themselves in extreme debt before they even get started in their careers. The career you have chosen is a very good one with many benefits for you, and the individuals you will be caring for. However, if you have to deal with financial stress, it will have a negative affect on you, both mentally and physically. Now, we do not know what the actual cost would be to complete this program particular to Keiser. You will have to ask them for full disclosure on the total cost, not just the tuition. Then you can compare it with other colleges and universities and make a better decision based of education and research. Please be very careful on this one. This is a private institution, and receiving your money will be an issue for them. Again, be careful.

How much does nursing in san francisco state university cost?

The tuition at SFSU is not dependent on your chosen major. So the cost to attend the nursing program would be the same per semester as the standard tuition (which for Spring 2012 was $3,138) and the program is five semesters long. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts and their associated tuition hikes, it is very possible that this amount will increase over time. Then of course you would have to factor in additional costs such as scrubs, supplies, and textbooks (nursing textbooks are one of the most expensive books on campus unfortunately).

Does anyone know cost of herzing college associate degree for nursing per credit also how many credits are neede?

The overall cost is roughly 38,000 for the associates degree in nursing, the practical nursing program is 18,000. Keep in mind that both of these include all the prerequisites you would normally take to get into school and that it is an accelerated program, finishing in about 21 months. Also, all books are included in the tuition. As for credit hours, I think the ADN is about 72.
