Not a very specific question, quite difficult to answer but I will try my best. They are very sporting people, Football,Basketball and handball being the biggest as are in the other regions of Spain. Saint George (Sant Jordi in Catalan) is the patron Saint of Catalonia so they celebrate Saint Georges day, which they often bake cakes for and set up book stalls and display a lot of Catalan nationalism, the rest of Spain does not celebrate Saint Georges day. At Christmas time they have this funny decoration called Caganer which are little figurines (of any person) with their pants down, famous football players are usually very popular for these figures. The Catalan language is also a huge part of their culture
