The formula to deduce the power consumption for single phase (or energy - Watt Hour or Kilo Watt Hour) generraly KWH is :

Power in Watt = Volt x Current x Power Factor

P= V I Cos phi

Energy is P multiplied by time in watt hour or WH.

Relation between HP and KW is 1 HP = 746 Watt (British) and 1 HP = 735 Watt (Metric)
