I've been researching it and i came up with around $4,000.00 depending on the condition and if it is the 50 piece set.
I need prices from 1970's Christmas medals and ingots.
The First Edition Proof Set consist of 50 Gold on Bronze Ingots. 100 ingots
The value of Franklin Mint and other private mint sets are based primarily the silver bullion value, but other factors include rarity, condition, attractiveness, completeness, etc. Start with the bullion value. The Rockwell's Fondest Memories set has 10 1500-grain sterling silver ingots. Silver bullion value as of today is calculated as follows: (1500 grains*10 ingots = 15000 grains; 15000 grains/480 grains/oz = 31.25 troy oz Sterling; 31.25 oz * 0.925 purity = 28.9 oz. pure silver; 28.9 oz silver @ $13.67/oz = $395). The silver price is constantly changing, so the bullion value changes with it. This particular set is not unusually rare. If you are buying this set from a coin dealer or website, expect to pay a 20%-30% premium over the bullion value. If you are selling, expect to get an offer of 20%-30% less. For details of this particular set, you can check it out on my website at http://www.franklin-mint-silver.com/franklin-mint-rockwells-fondest-memories-ingots.htm.
Hi I have a complete set of Queen Elizabeth 25 years silver ingots still in sealed packets, complete with a wooden box, a book of information, with all the purchase paperwork, and even the glove supplied to handle them, Due to a missprint on one of the ingots it was exchanged and the replacement is in a small leather pocket, Could you give me a value please. Kindest regards, B.W.Richardson.
Scrap metal dealers would give you $6,100-$6,800. It is 100 1,000 grain ingots; 208 troy oz. Silver is ~ $40/oz so thats $8,320 scrap metal, but its sterling silver at 92% silver. Also since they are ingots in a centennial collection set they are worth a more as a premium. Another thing is certificate of authenticity. So the Value would be end $8,000- $9,000. The Franklin Mint website has one for sale listed at $9,906 plus 50 shipping. As of 9/15/11
Today, 25-Mar-2010, between $.42 and $.47 per gram.
500 grains ~ 1973-2002 (i have complete set:) 1000 grains ~ 1970-2002 (im missing 2001)
it is used for making metals such as iron ingots and gold ingots
Depends on the purity of the gold and the weight of the ingots.
you could make gold pants with 7 gold ingots or you can make a gold helmet with 5 gold ingots and you have 2 gold ingots left which you can make a gold sword if you have stick
Steel ingots are ingots found in the Fallout 3 DLC: The Pitt. They are found laying on the ground; usually guarded by Trogs. They have little value, but can be traded to people in The Pitt of whcih once you obtain 50 steel ingots you get a unique weapon. In addition to this there are 100 steel ingots in total of whcih you gain a trophy/achievement once you find them all.
Assuming you refer to the Franklin Mint boxed set of 50 silver ingots depicting British Monarchs from 973 to 1973, starting prices on the internet commence at around £600 and go up to £5,000 GBP. Value would depend on the condition of the ingots, the packaging and the inclusion of the Certificate of Authenticity.
