A British 1806 copper Penny (George III), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to £300 GBP. If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from £5 to £60 GBP.

NOTE - The reverse of these coins is upside down to the obverse. This is normal.

British Coins were minted for hundreds of years with the obverse and reverse 180 degrees out. This is known as "coin rotation" or "die axis". The practice was gradually discontinued during the 19th century and had ceased altogether by 1888.

Dating back to about 1797, the predecimal British Penny had the iconic figure of Britannia, in one for or another, on the reverse. What does a colonial copper half penny look like?

It really depends on the type, but most imitate a George I or George II half penny. Usually they featured a bust on the obverse that looked similar to George I or II and on the reverse is usually a picture of a lady. Usually that lady is either Britannia or some personification of commerce or some virtue. Sometimes, authentic George I or George II halfpennies are called "colonial" halfpennies too.

What is the M P mintmark on a 1941 Australian Penny?

There is no "MP" mintmark on any Australian Penny. A 1941 Australian Penny minted in Perth will have a "." after the "Y" in PENNY (Y.), or a "." between the KG (K.G) on the reverse. A 1941 Australian Penny minted in Melbourne will have no mint mark at all. The letters HP on the obverse below King Georges head are the initials of the designer, Thomas Humphrey Paget. The letters KG on the reverse above the kangaroos tail are the initials of the designer, George Kruger Gray.
