I worked for a cleaning company for many years. I earned 45% of each job, so for a $100 house, I got paid $45.00. Normally a house of that price would take me about 3 hours, so I would make $15.00 an hour- a lot of times people will tip, so that adds to your earnings.

It all depends on how fast you work, and the amount of work you do per day. Your earnings all depend on those factors. You don't have a set wage per hour-at least at the place I worked, but all the cleaners worked alone.

I know for team cleaning companies you normally make like $7.00 per hour or so, I'm not sure about other companies. I can only speak for where I worked. In my area of Northern VA, Business owners charge the home owner an average of $30 per hour.
