Separation from the presence of God. No unclean thing can enter His presence...
Only through Christ can we be made clean and qualify to return to Him.
Answer:Sin's curse was upon God's perfect creation, after Adam fell in sin. Death & deterioration physically plagues all of creation. This is true as well for man, but he also experiences spiritual death, unless he receives God's remedy, which is Christ's payment for our sins on the Cross. When he/she does trust in Christ, a person is forgiven and made right with God, or becomes righteous through the blood that Christ shed for us.All of creation will experience the freedom from sin's curse, upon the full redemption of man, upon the day when Christ returns: "The creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." Romans 8:21-23.
Yes it is.
yes it is.
Only if you take the lords name in vain. There is nothing in the ten commandments about cursing, only using his name as part of a curse or to curse his name directly. Just dont curse at your mate if hes called jesus (better safe than sorry)
The only sin that will forever alienate us from God is to curse him and not believe in Jesus as your savior. It is never too late to repent of any sin but if you die without Jesus then it is too late. This is my Christian belief.
There are different kinds of 'generational' curses. 1) According to the Bible, -- 'sin' is a generational curse brought upon mankind by our foreparents Adam & Eve. This curse leads to the death of all mankind. Only Christ Jesus' sacrifice, can and will end the curse of sin. He can redeem mankind from this curse; by granting them 'everlasting life' in Paradise on earth. 2) If there is a curse pronounced upon a person or his family by another fellow human; -- then the worship of, and prayer to Jehovah God, The Almighty of the Universe; has been known to stop a generational curse in a very short time. For example, Jehovah's Witnesses who have received a voodoo curse; are untouched by the curse. The curse has no power over them; to the amazement of the curser. This is because they worship Jehovah God; and Jehovah protects them from human induced curses. Perhaps there are additional answers to this question.
Jam 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Peter swear and curse and God didnot kill him. Swear is not sin, it's not nice. Mat 26:73,74.
A generational curse, as described in the Bible, is a belief that the consequences of sin or wrongdoing can be passed down from one generation to the next. This idea suggests that the actions of ancestors can have a negative impact on their descendants, leading to a cycle of suffering or hardship that persists over time.
Galatians 3:13 - Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),In the Galatian letter, Paul paraphrased the conclusion of this passage:Deuteronomy 21:22, 23 - "If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, but you shall surely bury him that day, so that you do not defile the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance; for he who is hanged is accursed of God."The curse had nothing to do with the tree (or the cross) itself; rather, the victim was "accursed of God" for having done something that deserved such a death. The redemptive power of Christ is in the fact that He suffered such a death (and the accompanying curse) on behalf of others...despite the fact that He did NOT deserve it!2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.1 John 3:5 - And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.[Quotes from NKJV]
Cuss is frequently used as a synonym for curse. To curse someone is a category of blasphemy. All blasphemy is a grievous sin and a grave violation of charity towards God, frequently even of faith itself. To curse is a subcategory of blasphemy and involves invoking evil on someone. Imprecations of evil may be made directly against God, holy things, or persons, against rational creatures, against irrational creatures, and against the devil. Thus, if you curse God or rational creatures, and die with this sin unrepented, and unconfessed and unforgiven, then, yes, blasphemy is more than enough to send you to hell for eternity.a) To curse God or holy things is a form of blasphemy, as stated above.b) To curse rational creatures is normally contrary to charity or justice.c) To curse irrational creatures, such as the winds or horses, is general a venial sin of impatience. If these imprecations are uttered for a morally good purpose (v.g. in the course of an exorcism) then they are not sinful.d) To curse the devil as the enemy of God and men is lawful. But exclamations which in themselves are not sinful may become unlawful for incidental reasons, such as the danger of scandal.extracted from Handbook of Moral Theology, byDominic M. Prummer, O.P., translated from the Latin by Rev. Gerald W. Shelton, S.T.L., Roman Catholic Books, 1957
