It can range from $50USD to have yours rebuilt by a local axle repair shop to $300USD for a new one from Suzuki. You can check your local auto parts store for availability (usually around $100USD) but they usually don't have them.

There is no differential. The transmission is both a transmission and front wheel drive trans axle. It is all in one.

The axle will separate by prying on it. It can be difficult. Do not pull from the outer end of the axle (wheel end). The inner CV joint will come apart (you don't want that).
