Hades' realm or the Land of the Dead, was the underworld. It has many sections. There are the rivers of Styx, Acheron, Lethe, Phlegethon, and Cocytus. Around them is Oceanus, which is the river that encircles the world. The judges decide where the soul is to go: to Elysium, the Fields of Asphodel, or Tartarus.
