Inside the Gurdwara, there are beautiful beaded cloths all over the throne (tat) and over the Guru Granth Sahib.

There are also lots of colorful sequined banners hanging from the ceilings.

The carpet is usually red and quite comfy.

Also in a Gurdwara there is lots of posters with the holy Guru Nanak on it.

Around the main Diwan room, there are banners with religious words/teachings.

There is usually music playing from the musicians (Ragees) and the whole experience is quite cosy.

In a gurdwara, people typically remove their shoes before entering, cover their heads with a scarf or other head covering, sit on the floor in a respectful manner, participate in prayer or meditation, listen to kirtan (devotional music), and partake in langar (community meal). The atmosphere is usually peaceful and centered around humility, equality, and service to others.
