The traditional cricket ball is red and shall weigh no less than 155.9g and no more than 163g. It should measure a minimum of 22.4cm (3.57cm radious) in circumference and a maximum of 22.9cm (3.65cm radius). It is made of leather with a cork core and flax seam.
Golf balls must weigh less than 45.93g and have a diameter greater than 42.67mm. A cricket ball has to weigh between 155.9g and 163g, and have a circumference between 22.4cm and 22.9. The cricket ball is bigger.
Law 5 of the official MCC Rules of Cricket states: The ball, when new, shall weigh not less than five and a half ounces (155.9 grams) nor more than five and three quarter ounces (163 grams), and shall measure not less than eight and thirteen sixteenths inches (22.4 cm), nor more than nine inches (22.9 cm) in circumference.
