Hydrometer is used in batteries to measure density. A float tells you the density using displacement.
Density is a measure of how tightly the matter within it is packed together.
In lower classes viz sixth standard, the first letter of the word "density" ie 'd' is used. But later in higher studies instead 'd', 'rho' the greek letter is used as the symbol for density.
Do you mean density? Density translates to Spanish as Densidad. The symbol most often used for density is p. Mathematically, density is defined as mass divided by volume. P =m/v.
Density is mass divided by volume. Can be used to determine if an object will float in a liquid or not.

bitumastic roofing is typicaly applied to flat roofs and utilises a rubberized substance called bitumen. It is typically heat applied.
Bitumen whose rhelogical properties have been modified by reaction with air at elevated temperatures. This material is referred to as blown bitumen Oxidised while Air rectified bitumens are used in paving applications as well as roofing applications for some industrial applications. For more info: http://www.roadstarbitumen.com
Hey ... I came across this because I had to do some school work ... The vast majority of refined bitumen is used in construction. Not in itself an interpreted, bitumen's primary use is as a constituent of products used in paving and roofing applications. Approximately 85 per cent of all the bitumen produced worldwide is used as the binder in asphalt for roads. It is also used in other paved areas such as airport runways, car parks and footways. Typically, the production of asphalt involves mixing sand, gravel and crushed rock with bitumen which acts as the binding agent. Other materials, such as polymers, may be added to the bitumen to alter its properties according to the application for which the asphalt is ultimately intended. A further 10 per cent of global bitumen production is used in roofing applications, where its waterproofing qualities are invaluable. The remaining five per cent of bitumen is used mainly for sealing and insulating purposes in a variety of building materials, such as pipe coatings, carpet tile backing and paint. Hope that helps
The density of bituminous concrete varies a lot, depending on the density of the stone used to make it. In my area, the stone is hard, blue basalt, and the density of bituminous concrete made with it is around 155 pounds per cubic foot.
why bitumen is used
Bitumen emulsion is also known as asphalt. It has a density of 1 ton per cubic meter at 20 degrees C. Bitumen emulsion has a density that is just slightly higher than water.
Most roofing supply stores will have bitumen sticks available to help with flat roof repair. Trying one of the bigger roofing supply chains would be more beneficial then a mom and pops hardware store.
The density of bitumen is about 1 tonne per cubic metre at 20 deg C.. The same as water
Bitumen is use as fuel.
There are a number of different types of roofing systems to choose from including built-up roofing, metal panel roof systems, modified bitumen for flat roofs and single ply membranes.
The density(sp. Gravity) of Bitumen Grade 60/70 has Near about 1.01-1.08 gm/cc. and the final value will conform after Testing.
