The volume of a shape does not provide enough information about its dimensions. Leaving aside the problems which might be caused by the fact that the top is likely to be narrower than the rest of the bottles, the shape could be a wide but squat bottle or a tall thin shape.

This will differ depending on the type of bottle. Even though the capacity of the bottles may be the same (2 L), the design of the bottle and therefore the cap used will be different. The diameter of the cap on a 2 L Coca-Cola bottle is 28mm.To measure the diameter of the cap that you are using, place your ruler across the middle of the cap and measure the length from one end of the cap, through the middle to the other.
No. 1 liter ~= 1 3/4 pints. Therefore 2 pints will not fit in a liter bottle.

Circumference = 31 cm Radius = 4.93380324 cm Diameter = 9.86760648 cm The circumference of a 2 litre pop bottle is 31cm Using the formula radius= circumference / 2*pi then the radius is 4.93380324 To work out the diameter we just times the radius by 2 So the diameter is 9.86760648
Generally a regular 750ml bottle diameter is 3", a 1.5l blottle is 4" and a 3l jeroboam is 5".
