It'd be pretty hard to decide what's the average bike wheel is. For the MTB crowd it's 26", for the road crowd it's 28", then you've got all the BMXes and kids bikes which'll be something different.
Twice its radius, and entirely dependent on which size it is. Bicycle wheels come in a wide variety of sizes, usually between 12"-28".
Depends on what kind of race bike you're talking about. A road/TT/Tri/track bike is most likely to have 622 mm diameter wheels, while a MTB DH race bike most probably has 559 mm wheels while a MTB XC can have either.
That depends, because there have been different ways of measuring wheels over the years. Some have used different sections of the rim, others have measured the complete wheel incl tire. Either way it's pretty close to 24".
Bicycle wheels come in a variety of sizes with some popular bicycle wheel sizes being 26 inch, 27.5 inch, 29 inch and 20 inch. BMX bikes commonly have 20 inch wheels and mountain bikes commonly have the larger sizes mentioned.
measure it, or read the size description embossed on the tire sidewall.
Depends on the size, bicycle wheels are available between 12"-28"
Depends on bike. (Circumference Divided By Pi)
A bicycle store should be able to sell one to you, or you can order one online. Single wheel 24 inch isn't hugely popular, so you might have to do a bit of searching.
Radius of the wheel: 24/2 = 12 inches
12 inches
All things being equal, a 24" wheel will be stronger sideways than a 26" wheel.
Bicycles have pretty standard tire sizes from 16, 18, 20, 24, 26, 29 inch. There may be some special sizes out there. 26 is pretty standard for adult bikes.
No the wheel well is to small. 22 and under is okay
Circumference = 2*pi*radius or diameter*pi
If this is about maths and geometry, then the radius(which would be an approximate spoke) is half the diameter. And 24" refers to the diameter. If this is about bicycles, then there's no telling. Spoke lengths in real life differs with hub flange diameter, rim profile, lacing pattern and spoke nipple length.
One can purchase a 24 inch BMX bike from Amazon and the Bicycle Warehouse website has a buyers guide on choosing the right bike for ones needs. Amazon has a 24 inch BMX Diamondback Nitrus on sale for $299.99 in red with DB sound alloy platform pedals.
One can purchase 24 inch rims from a number of retailers. They can be purchased from 'Big Brand Wheels', 'Discounted Wheel Warehouse', 'Tech9Tyres' or 'ebay'.
Something missing from the question, try again.
yea but you have to get a lift and shave wheel wells
