MPEG-4 is a method of defining compression of audio and visual (AV) digital data. It consist of 28 criterion to be complied by a company/person to call a file/clip to be MPEG-4. The most important criterion to be followed is criteria no. 2 & 10 (sound & video coding).The H.264/MPEG-4 Part 10 or AVC(Advanced Video Coding) is the criteria no. 10 of MPEG-4 defining video quality.
