What is the difference PSP 2000 and the PSP 3000?

The psp 3000 has a microphone, a screen with better quality and no ghosting and visible in sunlight, slightly different home start and select buttons, slightly different logo placements, shiny back, the ring on the UMD slot is thinner and chrome. If you have a working 2000 it's not really worth the upgrade but the new features are nice.

the psp 3000, i belive, has a built in microphone. And a better display and is slim, over all not much different than the 2000 model, but MUCH different than the 1000 model

well,first of all psp 1000 is fatter than the psp3000.psp 3000 is much brighter and clearer.

The only thing the PSP 1000 has over the 2000 is IrDA capabilities. On the other hand, the PSP 2000 is lighter, has a flatter back due to reduced battery size, and has an AV-Out port.
