∙ 11y agoFor now we have stopped distinguishing between VLSI and ULSI. ULSI will only be used by people who want to use a new name as processes become smaller and the number of transistors per unit area increase.

∙ 10y agoES is embedded systems and VLSI is very large scale integration. The ultimate purpose of VLSI is to design a chip or IC. Programming the chip for a special purpose by dumping the required code into it is embedded systems.
