i HAD THE 9,9 MODEL and i transformed it to 15. it's exactly the same except the carburetor and reed valve. the 9,9 model has blocked the 2 of the 6 reeds (only works with four blades) and the carburetor has smaller inside diameter and differant jets.I orderd as replacement parts the carb assembly and the reed valve, i put them in 20 minutes and i just had the 15 model! I also changed the prop with a bigger pitch of course. The drawback is that the 9,9 model (for a 9,9) is very economical because it runs with many cc for a 9,9 model and the consumption was very low.In two words the 9,9 model is a "limited edition" 15 hp outboard.
The mixture ratio for Yamaha outboards is 50:1 gas/two stroke oil. That is approximately one pint of gasoline to a plastic coke bottle cap full of two stroke oil.
a yz250 is two stroke and a yz250f is four stroke. same with the 125 and 85
4 stroke. A Yamaha Blaster is a two stroke and so is a Yamaha Banshee but not a warrior.
all Yamaha blasters are two stroke
You really can't, the model hadn't changed much in those years. Just a 50cc four-stroke Yamaha dirt-bike.
No, but the Yamaha banshee is a 2 stroke.
like any 2 stroke chainsaws weed eaters merc outboards motor mowers ,motor bikes check fuel prime don;t flood first pop choke in.
Says it fits Yamaha 200 and 225 -4 stroke outboards. it is 1/2 in shorter than original equipment or the sierra 18-7906 filter.
2 stroke
no there isnt , thr only colour difference will br in the make of bikes you buy . suzuki = yellow yamaha = blue ktm = orange kawasaki = green honda = red p.s. this is all the body colours not the engine or frame.
The engine, I believe.
There is no thermodynamic difference between them .
