well the akita is alot bigger than the shiba and it sheds alot more than the shiba and it needs to be tended to more grooming than the shiba. if buying one of these, i recommend you buy a shiba inu and if you have children, a shiba is better and only sheds a little, and is a smaller dog.
Akitas are in the working group while Shiba Inus are in the Non-Sporting group.
i know of 3 breeds. shiba inu, akita inu (aka akita) and Japanese chin. chow chow is either Japanese or Chinese but I'm not sure
Shiba Inu or Akita
Inuyasha is either an Akita, or a Shiba Inu. (I personally think hes a shiba inu.)
The Akita Inu came from Japan just like the Shiba Inu.
A Shiba Inu is the smallest of the five Breeds native to Japan with the Akita Inu being the largest.
Yes, but it is sometimes reffered to as an Akita. A Shiba Inu is a different breed. See the related links for more information.
No they are not, you can tell because the Akita tend to grow much bigger that the shiba inu. They are related to one another, but they are different.
Shiba means brushwood (a reddish brown wood). In some dialects it also means small. If you are referring to Shiba Inu (the dog breed) it is usually translated as little brushwood dog (because of their coloring). In Japanese Shiba Inu are usually called Shiba Ken (Shiba breed) to avoid redundancy (inu already means dog).
"shiba" in Japanese, means " a kind of dog" Poodle, Chuwawa, Golden Retriever those kinds of normal dogs. A "shiba looks like this:
Brushwood dog
You need to find the Japanese Print Collar in order to get the Shiba Inu.You can also do bark mode with a friend who has one.
