A Vision Statement is a statement of the reason for being an organization. It defines the overal goal of the organization in terms of its strategic management. It should answer two main questions;
- Who are we?
- What are we to achieve?
A Mission Statement is a statement of the "how" we are going to achieve our vision. This statement tells the general public what do we do and how we are doing it.
A Policy Statement is the means by which you can describe, usually in detail, your actions as an organization. A Quality Policy Statement shows the intent of the top management team with regard to the management of quality.
