The difference is that there is no y axis on a line plot. The letter X is used to represent one of that number. For example, if there where 2 people that had two pets, there would be two Xs above the number 2. A bar graph uses the scale on the y axis to tell you the amount, instead of Xs. I hope this helps!
A line plot is just a graph with points and a line graph the points are connected.
On a line graph, the points are connected by a line. Hence the name 'line graph". A line plot is, A line plot can be used as an initial record of discrete data values. The range determines a number line which is then plotted with X's for each data value.
Line graph- two axis, plot the graph with each points (e.g 2,4) and join them up with a straight or curve line Bar graph- Drawn using bars Pie graph- circle of 360 degrees and divide each section measured according to the given value
A line graph would be what you plot for a function. for example, y = X2. Plotting this will result in a continuous line.A scatter graph will result from measuring a population or an experiment. For example, if you plotted the weight vs height for your class members, you would have a scatter graph.
Scatter plots and Line graphs have similarities in that they both use an X-Y axis. But a line graph has a line or curve to describe a formula like Y=2X+5, a Scatter plot is a collection of X-Y coordinates that have no real formula due to real life uncertainties (Heisenberg), but, once plotted, can provide a clue to a single formula.

A graph and stem is different to a leaf plot because in a leaf plot, there is a stem and leaf in a plot, while in a graph and stem, there is a leaf and stem in a graph.
line graph or a scatter plot.
A line graph is a line plotted on a 4 quadrant graph. A line plot is a graph that plots values on a graph !

I think that the difference is that a scatter plot graph has dots on it and that a line graph doesn't. Am sorry if I didn't answer your question properly but this is what I can offer. If it was not enough am sorry.

* line graph * bar graph * circle graph * histogram * pictograph * scatter plot * line plot
Bode plot is for Frequency Response Analysis Root-Locus plot is for time-domain analysis

A cluster in a line graph is the major part of the line graph that connects to the plot.
