A cattery is like a hotel for cats. Like a dog kennel is for dogs a cattery is for cats. When you go on holiday you leave them there and when you come home you pick them up. You pay someone to feed them and care for them. Hope that helped! :)
A dog crate as I understand it is for transportation and the the kennel is for housing/protection
It should be alot the same as buliding plans for a cattery or kennel but with better fencing and a few other differences

AKC stands for American Kennel Club. CKC stands for Canadian Kennel Club. The only difference is that the two different GSD's live in different countries.
The price to start a cattery ranges from $10,000 to $20,000, depending on the type of cat you've selected to work with. That excludes the ongoing fees and unanticipated charges you'll incur after starting your cattery.
The cost of setting up a cattery can vary depending on factors such as location, size, amenities, and regulations. However, a rough estimate for starting a small cattery could be between $10,000 to $30,000 for initial setup, including renovations, equipment, permits, and supplies. Ongoing costs for maintaining the cattery would include food, veterinary care, utilities, and staff wages.
