Travel agents are individuals, whereas a travel company is a corporation which hires individual travel agents to work for them. That being said, there are some travel agents who are working solo, unincorporated.

Not a whole lot if you ask me. I've used the same travel agent for 10 years and she's booked both my business trips and my vacations. That said, I guess some travel agents may specialize in corporate or business clients while others concentrate more on the vacation and cruises crowd. My advice would be to just find someone who's a good travel agent and go from there.
