Aerobic Respiration :

Respiration that uses oxygen and anerobic is done without oxygen

New Answer :

Aerobic Respiration

Respiration That uses Oxygen to form Co2 , H2o and Energy is called Aerobic Respiration

The Equation is :

Food + O2 = Co2 + H2o + Energy

Anaerobic Respiration :

Respiration that Does not use Oxygen to Form : Co2 , Ethanol and Energy

The Equation is :

Glucose = Pyrovic Acid = Co2 + Ethanol + Energy

Here = is gives

and Ethanol = C2H5OH

Thanks hope this helped

Good Luck

In broad terms, aerobic repiration requires oxygen, while anaerobic does not. Anaerobic respiration can have many different processes. Some are inhibited if oxygen is present, while others can tolerate it.

anaerobic respiration is when you are running really fast you do not have any oxygen so you get anaerobic respiration .

aerobic respiration is when you have oxygen and carbon dioxide is given out
Aerobic respiration uses oxygen to release energy from sugar and has the word equation: Glucose + oxygen energy + carbon dioxide + water Anaerobic respiration releases energy without needing oxygen (although you get less energy this way) and has the word equation

In plants and fungi such as yeast

Glucose> energy + ethanol + carbon dioxide Or Glucose>energy + lactic acid

In animal cells and bacteria.

What is the difference between aerobic and anarobic celluar respiration?

Aerobic respiration is when there is enough oxygen to use by the muscles. This happpens in long distance running. Anaerobic respiration is when respiration continues without sufficient oxygen,This happens more often in sprinting. Anaerobic respiration forces the muscles to rip and repair more often, and become bigger and more efficient. This is why sprinters like Christine Ohuruogu tend to be more muscular than marathon runners such as Paula Radcliffe.

What is the difference between aerobic respiration and anaerbic respiration?

Aerobic respiration: 1) Requires oxygen 2) Occurs in the mitochondria 3) Produces 38 molecules of ATP 4) Products are carbon dioxide and water in both yeast and humans 5) The glucose molecule is completely oxidised. Anaerobic respiration: 1) Doesn't requires oxygen 2) Occurs in the cytoplasm 3) Produces 2 molecules of ATP 4) Products are lactic acid in humans and carbon dioxide and ethanol in yeast 5) The glucose molecule is partially oxidised.

Difference between Aerobic and Anerobic Activity?

Aerobic : If respiration takes place in the presence of O2, then it is called aerobic respiration/ aerobic activity. Eg: Plants and animals, protozoans, some bacteriaAnaerobic: IF respiration takes place in the absence of O2, then it is called anaerobic respiration/ anaerobic activity. Eg: Yeast, some bacteria
