Batch is where you place a stack of files to be dealt with at a later time.

It may help if you know what Batch means. The old computers used to use 4x8

cards with punch holes in them to program a computer. they where stacked about 200 at a time in a holder and pulled in the computer one after another. So are not you glad that basic came out along with them nice languages peril, basic, C, C++ and the list goes on and on.

Immediate Data when it will be worked on as soon as it gets the data.

What are the three types of data processing?

The three types of data processing are batch processing, real-time processing, and interactive processing. Batch processing involves processing large amounts of data at once, often done in batches or groups. Real-time processing involves immediate processing of data as it is received. Interactive processing allows users to interact with the system and process data in real-time, providing immediate feedback.

What is the difference between a stored database procedure and a batch of SQL statements submitted by a client application?

Stored procedures prevent unauthorized access to data

How does the procedure for determining inventory requirements differ between a basic batch processing system and batch processing real time data input of sales and receipts of inventory?

In a basic batch processing system, inventory requirements are determined at set intervals, processing data collected over time, which can lead to delays in updating inventory levels. In contrast, a batch processing system with real-time data input allows for immediate updates to inventory levels as sales and receipts occur, providing a more accurate and timely reflection of stock availability. This real-time approach enhances inventory management by reducing the risk of stockouts or overstock situations. Therefore, the key difference lies in the timing and frequency of data updates impacting inventory decisions.

In batch processing?

In batch processing, data is collected and processed in groups or "batches" rather than individually or in real time. This method is often used for tasks that do not require immediate feedback, such as payroll systems or large-scale data analysis. Batch processing can improve efficiency and resource utilization, as it allows for the execution of multiple operations simultaneously. However, it may introduce latency, as results are only available after the entire batch has been processed.

What is batch validation in clinical data management?

batch validation is a programmed validation to achieve valid data. its done after data entry and before data cleaning. batch validation can be over night process or day process.

What are modes of data flow?

Modes of data flow refer to the ways in which data is transmitted and processed between systems or components. Common modes include unidirectional flow, where data moves in one direction, and bidirectional flow, allowing data to be sent and received. Additionally, data can flow in real-time for immediate processing or in batch mode, where data is collected and processed at intervals. These modes are essential for understanding system architectures and optimizing data communication.
