drilling-in drilling there is always a hole of standard size,depends up on size of drill tool,it also required reaming process for surface finishing .but in boring any size of hole can be possible with good surface finishing.

basically drill is a hole in metal sheet or in earth. it may be of any shape according to requirement. and bore is called the size of that hole.
