These two terms usually mean about the same thing. Computer modeling is a part of computer simulation, in which a digital model of an object is build which is designed to work like the real thing. The computer can then use this model to simulate various different conditions which the real object may have to deal with.

Difference between steady state and dynamic simulation?

Dynamic simulation is the use of a computer program to model the time varying behavior of a system. In contrast, steady state simulations cannot model variations in variables over time.

What is the difference between Monte Carlo and stochastic methods of simulation?

monte carlo simulation is used to give solutions of deterministic problems whereas stochastic simulation is used for stochastic problems.

What is the difference between computer modelling and computer simulations?

Computer Modelling is where you build a computer model used to predict the weather for example and computer simulation is when you simulate a real life situation. Computer simulation may be used to create a simulation of an aeroplane so that a pilot can use it to train. An advantage of computer simulations are: 1.It is a lot more cost effective that using real aircrafts because if you crash no lives are at risk and damages dont have to be paid for. A disadvantage is: 1.You cannot simulate the pressure that will be put on a pilot when hundreds of lives are in their hands

Is there a difference in between extruded clay and modeling clay?

Why yes there is. An extruded clay is something pushed out by a machine and modeling clay is handled by man.

Richard G. Niswonger has written: 'Documentation of the Unsaturated-Zone Flow (UZF1) Package for modeling unsaturated flow between the land surface and the water table with MODFLOW-2005' -- subject(s): Computer simulation, Zone of aeration, Groundwater flow, Percolation

What is difference between continuous simulation system and discrete simulation system?

Discrete simulation systems records events at regular time intervals when a simulation component generates output. Continuous simulation systems record events on a nearly continuous basis, using a relatively small time unit between event recordings. Discrete simulation is usually faster while still providing an accurate picture of the system's behavior.

What makes a tycoon computer game different than other simulation games?

The main difference between the tycoon computer game and other simulation games is the focus on earning and building money or capital to succeed. While each of these games may focus on developing a culture or society, the tycoon games have an objective that is a little more greedy to the individual player than the development of your gaming environment.

Difference between super and mini computer?

The difference between a super computer and a mini computer is in their computing power. A super computer has infinitely more computing power than a mini computer.
