For instance, my foundation shade is: Cover Girl: Buff Beige Maybelline: Buff Beige L'Oreal: Nude Beige (L'Oreal also has a Buff Beige but it is a LOT darker.) Elizabeth Arden: Beige Clinique: Cream MAC just uses numbers, and I've never shopped for MAC foundations--I'm certain it's great stuff, but at $26 a bottle? No.
